About Life and Wellness

Amanda

We're Hiring!

Amanda

I am the owner and lead psychotherapist at Life and Wellness, where I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals and couples seeking meaningful and lasting change. My work is grounded in helping clients break free from patterns that no longer serve them and move toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being.

I

I am the owner and lead psychotherapist at Life and Wellness, where I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals and couples seeking meaningful and lasting change. My work is grounded in helping clients break free from patterns that no longer serve them and move toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being.

I earned my graduate degree from Michigan State University and completed a post-graduate certificate in Management Essentials from Harvard University. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and the Gottman Method, allowing me to support clients with concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions.

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, repeating the same cycles in relationships, work, or school despite their best efforts. Therapy can be a powerful step toward understanding yourself more deeply, gaining new perspective, and developing practical tools for change. If you are ready to explore a new way forward, we may be a good fit.

My approach to therapy is holistic, strength-based, and solution-focused. Together, we look at the full picture of your life, including your strengths, challenges, goals, and values. I believe that meaningful change happens when therapy is collaborative, personalized, and rooted in what matters most to you.

My goal is to provide a supportive and welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Through therapy, I help clients increase self-awareness, improve relationships, build resilience, and create the life they envision.

I primarily work with individuals seeking therapy for:

  • PTSD and trauma, including trauma recovery and emotional regulation

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm

  • Life transitions such as career changes, academic challenges, or identity shifts

  • Relationship concerns and communication skills from an individual perspective

  • Blended family dynamics and family-related stress

  • Personal growth, goal-setting, and building resilience
